About Matt - The coach

"With my background in counseling psychology and competitive motorsports, I'm able to create a mutual understanding of the fundamentals and details needed to  operate a car at the limit. Fast drivers are not always good coaches, knowledgeable proficient communicators are."  

 I recently won nearly all of my races in the ForzaGroup Racing  GT4 Porsche. Ranging from POC to the GT4 Drivers Championship in the Pro/Am Porsche Sprint Cup North America West 2023.

I have developed, driven, built and coached in platforms ranging from Corvette, Ferrari, Porsche, BMW and Open Wheel to name a few. Additionally, I've completed Ford Performance Racing School, Fast Lane Racing School and Spring Mountain Racing Academy among others. My development in racing as a part of professional racing teams has included working along side well know crew chiefs, setup engineers, data technicians and former F1 coaches.

Anyone can breakdown data or tell you to "go faster here". I implement the technique YOU are familiar with, in a language YOU understand, and support YOUR concerns and efforts to drive in your style. We work together to understand what needs to be accomplished and how...as a TEAM. My driving style isn't going to parallel yours. I will show you how to fine tune your own personal and individual techniques."
